Music Updates - September 17

Dear Friends,

My friend Mary is coming al the way from Centralia to perform at The Couth Buzzard Espresso Bueno open mic on September 18. So me and Tera agreed to meet her there, hang out and perform. Mary is a poet. And she knows it (ba doom chuck)

I will be hosting the Couth Buzzard open mic the following week, Wednesday, September 25, 7-9:30 PM.

I uploaded a new track to my Bandcamp site. It is called "At First" and it is a sequel to my song, "You Put a Spell on Me"  It isn't a new song, but it is newly available for download on Bandcamp.com.

Unlike many new Greg Spence Wolf songs, it doesn't have repeating chorus or a folky chord progression. Instead it is a brainstorm in rhyme. The subject is advice to myself on how to win over a girls heart. It was written 15 years ago. Since it took me 14 more years to find true love, I woudn't necessarily heed the advice of the song. But since I spent many hours crafting the song, I would appreciate if you gave it a listen.

Bandcamp is a great download site for musicians because the musician has much more control over the pricing of their songs than any other music site. And because there are no upfront fees for joining and making your music available for download. If you like the song, you can download it for free in exchange for your email address, and you can leave a tip for me through the Bandcamp website as well.
